Brown Bag List
We all see them everywhere. They live in the same town as us. Have or once had the same dreams as us. Need as we need, want as we want. And most work like we work. There’s just one big differance…we have a home.
The Brown Bag List cause comes in two parts. First we go to the park on Thursdays at noon and feed lunch to the people there. Second, we have a list, usually on a brown bag, of stuff that the homeless need. Sometimes it’s small and very affordable; sometimes it’s above and beyond what we can do.
So if you want to participate in any of these ways, making food, going to the park, or picking up some socks once and a while, then we can use the help.
These guys just need to see God’s love. Simple people doing simple things with God around can change a life.

If you’re looking for something to do on your Saturday mornings, besides watching cartoons and eating cereal, then consider teaching English to refugees in Eastridge.
It’s very simple. You don’t have to have a background in education, or even speak proper English. Our friend, and elementary school teacher, Beth Talley has already made the super simple lessons. If you speak English you can teach these classes. The first class will begin this September and will meet the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, from 10-11 a.m.
There will be a place to sign up at North, and Beth will be around to answer any questions that you might have. This is a great chance for North to tell the good news of Jesus Christ to our neighbors in Eastridge, so we hope that you can be a part of it.
