ESL Circus Night

Our ESL Cause led by Beth Talley went to the Circus last Friday night.  And as a result, 6 of the 12 kids who were brought to the event, were saved.  North believes very strongly in our causes.  So occationally we might ask you to give money, get involved, or to celebrate a cause with us.  And because of the money we gave at North to the ESL kids, we all get to celebrate these salvations.

ESL meets the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month at Eastridge Elementary school to teach English to a group of refugee children.  Contact Beth Talley at bethanycharise@hotmail.com or 806-679-9932 for more information.

There are several causes to choose from at North.  Be sure to check out the Cause Wall the next time you’re at North and get involved.

Pre-Service Prayer

If you have a passion to pray for others, join us every Tuesday at 6:15 to pray over the ministry of North and the upcoming meeting.   This pre-service prayer meeting will be held in the North Auditorium.

North Mexico Mission Trip

Every summer, North joins forces with a missions organization called Casas Por Cristo to build houses for families in need.  This year on our trip we blessed two families with two homes and had a lot of fun while doing it.  Celebrate with us what the Lord was able to do on the North Mexico Trip this year!  To learn more about our trip contact meganschlabs@tfchurch.org.

Dialogue groups meet the 2nd and 4th weeks of the month after North at various restaurants.  Be listening in North for the location of our next meeting.

Apostolos

The last charge Jesus gave His disciples while He was here on the earth was to “make disciples of all nations.” (Matthew 28:19)  And that charge still stands for Christians on the earth today.  

Knowing how to put that commission into daily life is challenging even for the most outgoing believer.  Apostolos is a 4-week class designed to teach you how to reach those in your realm of life – on campus, at your job, or just out running errands.  You’ll learn practical and valuable tools from Pastor David Ritchie and other leaders in North.

Africa Mission Trip

Join North as we travel to the AIDS-ridden country of Malawi, Africa this August! We have the chance to shine Jesus to the people in Malawi for what could be the very first time.

By using a movie called Jesus Film and incorporating hands on ministry, we hope to change the lives of thousands of people with the gospel of Jesus. Join us on this amazing adventure.

Sign up first with North. Then, visit the Jesus Film website  and begin the registration process by clicking on the Malawi trip on August 10th – 22nd. God gave His church people who could teach and preach the good news of Jesus Christ so that we’ll grow together in unity.  Because we want to grow together in unity (all of the very different people who are a part of the community at North) we record the messages every week at our Tuesday night meetings, and post them here at the North Website.
